2002 CUB FIELD DAY

Date: Saturday, October 5, 2002

Time: 9AM to 3:00 PM

Place: Pascack Brook Park in Emerson

OPEN TO ALL TWIN VALLEYS CUBS

TIGERS, WOLVES, BEARS AND WEBELOS

Pre-registration is recommended (Limited to 200 Cub Scouts)

PROGRAM

9:00-9:30 Attendance- All cubs report to HQ table and give name, pack number

and year in cubs (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos). Patch will be given out.

9:30-10:00 Opening ceremony and pack inspection. Opening ceremony will be on the lawn. Bring unit and American flags. Uniform inspection to follow.

Uniform inspection to be used as a tiebreaker for all events.

10:00-11:30 Pack Relay Competition in Field Events. Open to all Cubs.

1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies awarded to winning packs.

11:30-12NOON Lunch— Barbecues permitted. No ground fires.

 

11:30 Leaders meeting at HQ table. One leader from each pack.

12:00-2:00 Individual Competition Events

A 1st place medallion will be awarded to the winner of each event by year in cubs

(Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos). Events to be run by Pack Leaders, one event per pack that all cubs will rotate through,

E.G. Basketball Shoot, Bean Bag Toss, etc. A trophy will be given out to the Pack that runs the best event. If you need help with ideas, please contact Cub Field Day Chairman.

Be sure that your event can be scored and a winner identified. Please indicate your event on the registration form.

2:00-2:230 RUNOFFS- If you have ties in your event, inform HQ and an announcement will be made to get the finalist to your event.

2:45-3:00 Awards Ceremony and Closing
