has been chartered for 55 years and serves boys from the first through fifth grades with a program of discovery, friendship, crafts, games, songs, service and adventure!

BOY SCOUT TROOP 139
has been chartered to St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church for 65 years and serves boys through age 18 with an extensive program of service, personal growth through camping, hiking and other adventures!

Chartered by the Northern New Jersey Council of the Boy Scouts of America to St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Bergenfield, New Jersey.

We welcome all boys and girls into our exciting and active programs of friendship and fellowship based on the four Duties of a Scout:

Duty to God, Duty to Country, Duty to Family, and Duty to Self.
To support these Duties, it is expected that the boys, girls and adults who are members of our Pack, Troop and Crew try to live the values of Scouting in their everyday lives.

These values are defined in the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Slogan, Scout Motto, the Outdoor Code and Psalm 139

The purpose of this web site is to enhance the information flow among the members of the Pack, Troop and Crew and their families. We also hope that this site helps to spread the word throughout the community of our diverse activities available to all boys ages 6 through 20 and girls ages 14 though 20.
